Protection & Educational Services

Experience Days

Are you interested in joining the public or protection services, or an opportunity to gain new skills? Are you looking for a change in career, or unemployed? This is a unique opportunity to get targeted activities which includes hands-on practical skills in line with various qualification specifications.

We are able to deliver this at our dedicated training centre for a range of organisations for example in the further education sector, there are some programmes that can be delivered at your site.

Learners will get the opportunity to work along with experienced fire and rescue personnel, police, ambulance and army.

Our vehicles come fully equipped and the learners will be subjected to scenario based emergency incidents which can involve various aspects of the protection services.

We provide a flexible approach to what we offer, here is a brief rundown of the programmes that are available.

Experience Days (Multi-Agency)

Learners will be issued with full firefighter PPE and after a health & safety brief they then get familiarisation with the vehicles and equipment with a walkthrough of the roles, responsibilities, skills and expectations in whatever role they are being given. The roles usually involve fire & rescue, police and ambulance. This will culminate in a staged incident

For those learners that are in college, the benefit of this experience is that learners will have the opportunity to cross-link the day’s activities with the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Uniformed Protective Services as well as the Level 2 qualification either by Pearson or NCFE.
